Can you believe they let Qaddafi ramble on for over 90 minutes at the UN conference? Where the hell is Kanye West when you need him?

    Chopsticks
I gotta think: for every Westerner that has painstakingly taught themselves to use chopsticks, there must be an Asian person who discovers western utensils and is like "Oh, shit!- this is MUCH easier!"

    Comeback Blog: 2009!
    Thought #1:

So I was eating chips and dip for dinner last night. In the kitchen. By myself.

Chips and salsa is not one of those things one should ever really be eating by one's self.: not because they're so dangerous that you need to use the Buddy System with them(maybe with some varieties), but rather because it makes one feel a little pathetic to be eating a normally social snack in the kitchen at home at 11pm by one's self. It's just about the most socially-awkward situation I can imagine that involves only one person.

At least it's not as bad as cake: if you buy yourself a whole cake for no occasion, your fat ass should just give up.

    Thought #2:

Ever wonder why men are so irritated in the mornings, leading women to tell us we're "just having a case of the Mondays"? It's the fucking constant shaving! Every morning I have to drag an overpriced, grating, razor-sharp piece of steel across my throat- over and over and over and over, because the grain of the hair on my neck can't make up it's fucking mind which direction it wants to go in. It isn't until I've removed most of my epidermis that it even begins to look less like an overused piece of flypaper. It actually looks pretty decent once I've rubbed off all the dried blood. My cheeks aren't that much of a bother, so I've even thought about laser hair removal just in the trouble spot. Of course with my luck, as soon as I do it, having a hairy neck will be the new attractive thing on men. "Oh, you can't grow a neck beard- too bad...they're soo sexy"

    Thought #3

I wonder if newly-handicapped people get excited when they get their special license plate that allows them to park in all the good spots. I would totally take a picture of me grinning and pointing at it with my stubby limb, and upload it to Facebook.

The caption would read something like "At least I got something cool out of this!" or if I were more of a douche, "Suck my nub, bitches!"

First update in a long time...
Hi, everybody! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I don't have a computer, and that makes things a bit hard. I'm kinda in the middle of a lot of crap right now, but i'll lay everything out once things get settled. Until then, think happy thoughts for me!

Whoah-oh-oh-oh! I haven't posted in for-frigging-ever!! Must be that whole "no access to a computer of my own" thing.

For those of you wondering what's been going on with me, here it goes: I've been doing a lot of driving around. Orlando. Jensen Beach. Vero. Jupiter. I'm living out of my car. I have no home right now, i'm losing my footing, i'm off center. I feel like i've been floating in a dream world, suspended in some kind of sickly-sweet limbo. But the dream is ending, and I need to wake up and face the harsh reality of my circumstances. I need to steel my resolve. I need to center myself. I need hope.

I freak out over little things now. Amy, in her sweetness, asks me what's wrong. How do I tell her that i'm on the very edge of my mind, without making her worry? How do I tell her i'm looking for land in a sinking ship? She tells me not to worry. I need faith like that. I need to know it will all work out.

I'm sure it will. Somehow. I need to remember to be still.

I've also been on my case bout the fact that i'm in almost the exact same place I was 7 years ago. No degree, no useable skills, no major accomplishments, no money saved up. Working some job in retail.

Except 7 years ago it was still cute. Now I just feel like some kind of late-20s loser. This is actually the first year i'm not looking forward to my birthday. I mean i'm going to be 26, and I still don't have the slightest clue what I want to be doing with my life. Am I going to be able to be an equal life partner to anyone when I reach my 30s? I genuinely envy all of you who had it all figured out at a young age. I feel fucking old and dispassionate. I have no purpose.

But somehow people still think i'm an 'awesome person'. It's really confusing. Am I not seeing something? Can I make a living being an 'awesome' guy? I hope I find a way. Don't you?

Bless all of you who read all this shit. I'm really just getting it all down on the proverbial paper for my own good.

You can all sleep sound tonight. I'm not crazy or anything.

    Andreas Stein, signing off.

dropping the WND on Harper's pub
Tonight, I was joined by Sam, Bill, and Boston for food and drinks at the Jensen Beach Ale House.

This is a shot of our good friend Boston(a.k.a. Kevin the Africa guy), before the action, consuming a plate of the Jensen Ale House's famous Chicken Nachos.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Now, imagine those nachos in vomit form. On your pants.

Yes, the evening started out sooo innocent. After the delightful dinner at the Ale House, we headed for Harper's Jensen for an aperteif.

And Sam and I were actually having some luck with a couple of girls tonight, before the WND (Wednesday Night Drinker) dropped on Harper's. And after he puked all over the bar and on us, he WANTED ANOTHER DRINK!!!! He kept being stubborn about it until Kat (our usual bartender at Harper's) informed him that she could not serve him after he had puked.

It was partially our fault. Sam and I were a bit miffed about his behavior around the girls we were attempting to flirt with. So we fed him drinks. Lots of drinks. And we paid for our wrath. But he paid for everything else. And now i'm cleaning Boston's former stomach contents off my leg (and I was DD!)

    For all you English majors!
    Damn fine job!
    76% Prodigy
You are obviously a well spoken, intelligent individual. You only missed from 20 to 11 words. You're definitely a cut above the majority. You almost certainly have a college degree and if you don't, you probably will do soon. You have a little room for improvement so take this opportunity to look up a few of the words you weren't sure about. Go to dictionary.com and take a gander. I'll bet if you try the test again you'll do better. Don't forget to try out part 2 of this test If English is not your first language and you are overseas, then please immigrate to the US immediately so you can teach our kids how to speak properly. Don't forget to rate the test.

A game for my sick friends!
I think the guy who has the "BAD COP-NO DONUT" bumper sticker is kinda stupid. If they get pulled over, it's fucking over. There's no talking your way outta that. So in the same vein, think for a second:

What kind of bumper sticker would you put on some one else's car as a prank. Or if you just hated them. Don't hold back now!

    I'll begin:

I was listening to the 97.9 morning show today. the subject of the morning was: what is D&D? how is it played? is it evil? do you have to dress up?, etc. they had gamers calling in from all walks of life. It made me glad to be part of the gaming community. They (the morning show's Jennifer and Danny) even were asking if anyone could help them try it for themselves down at the station. I might have to go there tomorrow.

The last guy, who was in his mid-forties, mind you, set the record straight. He was basically a jock in school, no problems with the ladies, etc. He's now married, and has kids, and he still plays on the weekends with a group of folks basically his age. He views it as no sillier than if they were a bunch of grown men getting together for poker every Friday night. I was glad that the topic was ended with this kind of demystification, as opposed to the strange and misunderstood light this hobby of ours is usually painted in. This means, to me, that there truly is hope for all of our future gaming enterprises. We won't have to stop just because we go out into the world.

    I'm not dead. Yet.
In case anyone has wondered "where's the Andi gone?", have no fear: I've been in a corporate training for Verizon Wireless in Boca Raton since Tuesday, and i'll be there until the 18th(when i get out, I will either be a super cellphone expert, or comatose). I will be coming back on the weekends, so feel free to holla at me when i'm home. You have my number. I will also try to make Bill's game tomorrow night.

In other gaming news, I have, at Bill and Kirk's request, been writing a Starwars campaign. I may run it intermittently, once i've been able to iron things out for myself. Please let me know if interested. More on that later.
